Thick writing can be hard for people to get through. Which I mentioned as one of my favourite books in my first ever entry. Anil's Ghost is a well-known Canadian historical fiction novel by Michael Ondaatje. And so, I will be talking about Michael Ondaatje's 'Anil's Ghost'.. The protagonist, Anil Tissera, is a native Sri Lankan who moved to the United States study abroad becoming a forensic anthropologist. Anil's Ghost tells the story of a young woman, Anil, who returns to her native Sri Lanka after an absence of several years. Anil’s Ghost follows the life of Anil Tissera, a native Sri Lankan who left to study in Britain and then the United States on a scholarship, during which time she has become a forensic anthropologist.
